Since Martocci cofounded the company in 2013, Splice has raised more than $100 million in funding and, as of last year, was valued at $268 million. Martocci is no stranger to startup success. The 39-year-old also cofounded the popular messaging app GroupMe, which was purchased by Skype for $85 million in 2011. He also cofounded Blade, which offers private flights via helicopter, seaplane, and jets, in 2014. Blade was valued at $140 million in 2018.”
