Mission.org is building a roster of contract writers to complete show notes on an as-needed basis. We are looking for writers with experience in technical and business writing (topics like: automation, IT, marketing, ecommerce, etc.)

To get on our list of writers, review and complete the assessment below. Once completed, email the assessment to lacey@mission.org along with a quick bio about yourself and an attached resume or portfolio. In the subject line, use the following format “Show Notes Assessment – *First and Last Name*“

Below are links to all of the elements needed for the written assessment. 

• Transcript. You will use the transcript to listen to the full episode and gather the information needed for titles, descriptions, pull quotes, and segments. When pulling a quote or segment, copy it from the transcript, paste it to your show note, and strikethrough any words or sentences that you don’t want in the section. The editors will be working from your show note and will cut out those sections in the audio and video. 
• Prep Doc. You will use the prep doc for any information about the guest, including bio, company, job title, social media, etc. 
• Completed Show Notes. This is simply for reference if you need to see a completed one.
