About the Eleanor:

Eleanor Castillo Sumi is the senior vice president of strategy, innovation and growth at Pacific Clinics. She develops new programs, partnerships and strategies, including digital transformation, to serve community needs. 

Prior, Castillo Sumi served as vice president of research and program development. Before her tenure at the agency, she held various roles, including clinical director at The May Institute Pediatric Speciality Center, executive director at California Community Opportunities and best practice specialist for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Department for the State of Hawaii. Castillo Sumi has taught in adjunct and assistant faculty positions at multiple universities. 

A licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavioral Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D), Castillo Sumi is a published author and has spoken at multiple conferences, including Open Minds and California Alliance for Children and Family Services. Castillo Sumi is a member of the Research and Evaluation Subcommittee for California’s Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission. 

Castillo Sumi graduated with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. 

About Jason:

Jason Gurahoo is the chief financial officer at Pacific Clinics. In this capacity, Gurahoo is responsible for all accounting and financial management decisions, investments, and information technology. Gurahoo joined the organization in 2014, and his career has included positions in finance, accounting, treasury, and audit at various companies, including Electronic Data Systems, Kimberly Clark Corporation, Amdahl Corporation, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, Inc., and Fujitsu IT Holdings, Inc. the latter where he held senior and executive-level positions.

Gurahoo holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Florida, and a master’s in business administration with concentrations in finance and management information systems from the University of South Florida.
