Mission is hiring a Video Editor


Mission.org is a network of podcasts servicing C-Suite and VP level audiences, and produces award winning podcasts around business & technology.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of Adobe Premiere & After Effects experience with multiple examples of editing from TikTok/Reel style vertical edits to longer form multi-camera and multi-subject studio interview edits. We value skill over experience, so if you are exceptionally skilled, please apply!

Experience managing freelancers and contractors preferred.

Mission Video Editor will need to: 

  • Edit all interviews into full length feature interview videos and edit social shareable clips from interviews
  • Design original effects to best compliment interview subjects
  • Plan production schedules in order to meet deadlines
  • Proof copy and captions for accuracy
  • Interview, test, and select freelancers best suited for additional editing projects

Prior experience editing podcasts interviews regarding technology, software, and business is preferred.

The ability to identify a mass audience story within an interview is required. What is the story that will get the most amount of attention from the target audience in a given interview? For example, if the interview was with an ecommerce executive and the audience is ecommerce operators, what would be the most compelling part from an interview for the audience. If a CISO is interviewing, which segment of the interview will compel the largest number of tech executives to watch the video and listen to the episode.

  1. 30 min: Google Meet interview 
  2. 2 HR skills test
